Is Therapy Right for you?

​​​Somewhere along the way, we were told (and we believed) that at some point we'd have it all together. Whatever the dream is, we'd be living it.  Of course it would take time and hard work, but it would be worth it.  So naturally, when we arrive at the age where we ought to have it all together but we're still living in patterns and habits of the past, it can be incredibly frustrating.

It doesn't matter your age or the direction you want to head in.  If you are holding back or feeling stuck you should consider that it doesn't have to be this way.  I'd like to walk with you on a path of self-exploration and self-discovery so you can live the life you always imagined.

 

 

Things I believe to be true:

1.  We are all doing the best we can AND we can do better

2.  You possess inherent self-worth, simply by existing

3.  You have strength and power

4.  You are capable of change and resilience

5.  You are worthy of love, understanding, and acceptance

Approach

Though my approach will vary based on individual needs, I utilize techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) as well as a broad range of therapeutic frameworks.
