Appointments may be scheduled outside those times as needed.
For children younger than 12, I prefer to meet with their parents/guardians first to gain a sense of the dynamics that bring their child into therapy. This allows us to have an honest discussion about symptoms, difficulties, and goals for treatment. Additionally, you'll get a sense of my style, before your child meets me.
Adolescents should attend with their parent/guardian for the first appointment. We will discuss the role of parents in therapy including privacy, confidentiality and acceptable disclosure.
Adults may bring a family member or friend to their first appointment, but you'll need to sign a release of information for that person to stay. All adults are required to sign a release with permission to contact a friend or family member in the event of an emergency.
I'm in-network with Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield and Lyra. I can provide super bills for reimbursement if you are out-of-network.
If you have other insurance, you may be eligible for out of network benefits.
Contact your insurance company to be sure.
